Parrellel to the Princess Hwy in Mulgrave, lies the modern
Sabbadin Automotive.


 You wouldn’t know it from the signage, but from the types of vehicles present you can
clearly see this workshop is geared towards serious motor enthusiasts. In the driveway,
just dropped in was a red RX7 coming in for a fuel line check.


In the car yard in front there are another eight cars currently being worked on ranging from
a project ute, to a standard V6 commodore (just been V500 "WOLFED"). Inside there are
another three vehicles on the hoists.


It's very reassuring from a customers’ point of view to know that the place is fully surrounded
with protective, gates and fencing. There’s three hoists and a 2WD dyno cell which has
been fully inclosed complete with industry sound absorbing foam. You can completely shut
the dyno cell from the rest of the workshop.


Rob and the guys are flat out with project & performance engines seeking power & control.

Sabbadin Workshop

In the DYNO Cell...

Sits a charcoal grey R32 GTR Nissan Skyline supporting a RB20 DET engine which has just been had the Wolf V500 installed, awaiting performance run on the dyno.

It is an impressive looking slick vehicle that contains:-
•    Whole engine rebuild;
•    Forged pistons;
•    H-beam rods;
•    Balanced & blue printed motor;
•    Bigger turbos GT 28-5;
•    Exhausts manifolds;
•    Split dump pipes;
•    31/2 inch exhausts system.

Rob will keep us posted on what sort of output it gets at the wheels soon..........
RX7 Project Car...

Project car is a White RX7 Series 5 with a 13b turbo, also been “V500 Wolfed” .


•    It also has had the engine dowled;
•    Large extend port;
•    Engine balanced;
•    Eccentric shaft has been isotropic coated;
•    Custom 3” exhaust system;
•    Fuel system is Bosch Motorsport
      located in the boot;
•    Lightened Flywheel;
•    T042 turbo with 1600cc injectors;
Rob's 180SX...

This is Rob Sabbadin's car.  It is a great example of what these clever guys can create.

It's a Silver Nissan 180SX Auto which also contains an SR20DET engine.  Most of its modifications are custom made.

For example:-

•    Custom ground camshafts;
•    Custom Exhaust Manifold;
•    Custom Intake Manifold;
•    Infinity Throttle Body;
•    Custom Spec Turbo;

It was first dyno tuned on a Wolf3D V4 at 397 Kw at the wheels.  Now it has just been "V500 Wolfed", and is awaiting dyno tuning.

Other features include:-

•    Balanced and Blueprinted Bottom End;
•    Indexed Crankshaft;
•    Main Stud Kit;
•    Heavy Duty Valve Springs with Titanium                     Retainers;
•    1600cc Injectors
•    Ported Cylinder Head;
•    Solid Lifter Conversion;
R32 GTST...

Just about to leave to another happy customer is a Black R32 GTST with a RB20 DET engine.

At Robs it got 260 kw at the wheels after it was “V500 Wolfed” .

•    600cc injectors
•    Forged pistons
•    Custom par rods which took 4 moths to make
•    Cylinder head ported
•    Custom high mount turbo set up
•    Plasma MAN intake manefold.
