EFI Fuel Injection Tools.

One of the biggest hurdles people come up against when installing, working on, or diagnosing an EFI system, is not having the correct tools for the job.

Besides the regular tools like screwdrivers, spanners, sockets and pliers, there are a few low cost tools that will make EFI so much simpler and easy to work on.  On top of that, you will save a lot of time, and enjoy the experience so much more.

These tools are:

multi meterThis is the most important tool you can have when you are installing, or fault finding on an EFI Fuel Injection system.

From testing sensors, wiring, supply voltages, coils and injectors, the MultiMeter can help in so many areas.  More....

digital timing lightThe one item you MUST have when you are either trying to start an engine or you are about to tune an engine is the Timing Light.  A Timing Light can also help diagnose many ignition and mechanical issues.

Timing Lights are available in many forms. More....

fuel pressure gaugeFault Diagnosis on Fuel Injected Engines is far easier if you have a fuel pressure gauge.

Incorrect fuel pressure can have a bad effect on performance a fuel economy.  knowing what the fuel pressure is at idle, and while the engine is under load can help you determine where your engine's problem is.

Inconsistent idle quality, or lack of fuel delivery can easily be diagnosed using a Fuel Pressure Gauge. More....

How do you detect pulses down a wire?  You can't use a multimeter, as it displays an average voltage, and will not let you "see" when high or low pulses occur.

An LED Test Light Will.

Great for quick diagnostics on wiring faults, the humble test light can make quick work of what would seem quite tricky situations.
